Federico Sartori holds a PhD. in History from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. His research focuses on the history of Colonial Latin America and particularly on the history of the Inquisition and the Jesuit Order in the Viceroyalty of Peru during the 16th and 17th centuries. Currently, he teaches history at the Colegio de Monserrat, at the National University of Córdoba and is the director of the Historical Archive of that institution
