The Muscogee Creek Indian Freedmen Band (Black Creeks) with presenters Dr. Daniel F. Littlefield, Dr. Jennifer Caldwell, MCIFB VP Jeffrey D. Kennedy, Za Smith and others are hosting an online event exploring the History and Heritage of the Freedmen of Indian Territory on August 24, 2024 from 2pm EDT (1pm CDT) until 5pm EDT (4pm CDT). The event is open to genealogists, historians, and the curious from around the world - whether you're well-versed in genealogy or just intrigued by family history. Tickets range from $15-$25.
