Image: Historians and scholars working on research projects related to Alabama and Southern history are invited to apply for the July 2026 Jacob F. B. Lowrey III Research and Writing Residency at Pebble Hill. The residency provides a $4,000 stipend and complimentary lodging in the Lowrey Guest House at Pebble Hill. During their stay, the selected scholar will give two public presentations on their research. Transportation, food, and other living expenses are not included.
