The Institute of Native American Studies had another great year of teaching, learning, engaging, and sharing Native American  culture, history, and social realities at UGA.

Our closing events included the Three Sisters planting

A co-sponsored event with UGA History and the Wilson Center for Humanities featuring UGA historian Claudio Saunt, WCU Sequoyah Chair Brett Riggs, and EBCI Tribal Elder Thomas N. Belt.

And our End of the Year gathering at the Yellow House, which was a great time hanging out with students, faculty, and supporters from the UGA and Athens community.

We had a great programming series all semester, with graduate research presentations, visiting scholars, and Native American leaders. INAS appreciates all of you who attended our events, engaged our faculty and guests, and donated to our program.
