The Institute of Native American Studies invites you to join us for a reading by celebrated playwright William S. YellowRobe. He is presently an adjunct faculty member in the English Department at the University of Maine and a Faculty Affiliate of the Creative Writing Department at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana.

His books include; Grandchildren of the Buffalo Soldiers: and Other Untold Stories, a collection of full-length plays, and Where the Pavement Ends: New Native Drama, a collection of one-acts. His adaption of the novel Powwow Highway-a play opens in New York this October. A monologue of his will appear in the Arena Stage’s production of Our War, in October. He is a member of the Penumbra Theatre Company of St. Paul, Minnesota, The Ensemble Studio Theater of New York, and an Advisory Board member for Red Eagle Soaring Company, Seattle, WA., and for The Eagle Project, of New York, New York.
