Thursday, September 26 - Friday, September 27 2024, All day Bardo Arts Center on the Main Campus of Western Carolina University. The symposium is an interdisciplinary event discussing Native health, environmental issues and traditional ecological knowledge. This year's theme is "Mountains Teach Us to Learn". Keynote speakers include Kyle Whyte, a faculty member at the University of Michigan, and Dr. Tom Belt of the Cherokee Nation. Registration is closing at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 24th.
