On Tuesday, October 5 President Biden nominated Navajo citizen Shelly Lowe as chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).

University of Georgia Franklin College of Arts and Science Institute for Native American Studies has received a gift of $100,000 to recruit and support scholarships for Native American students at the university.
